Jean-Pierre Latour produces some of the best wines from Meursault, where the emphasis remains on quality rather than quantity with largely organic viticulture and wild yeasts. The wines are unfiltered. This Cuvee Charles Maxime is fermented and matured in oak barrels for 15-16 months, resulting in a rich, generous, expressive style with considerable poise, concentration and elegance.
